good place to visit and rest
I LOVE this small museum! The Lions Club 'services' the museum and surrounding offerings, and accept/ need public donations in order to preserve & operate, this vital part of our (local) history. The place itself offers an undercover BBQ and seating area, + play area for the kiddies, a public toilet, a map of the area, & I believe there's also a facility for motor homes to refill their water, & also the emptying of grey water, + overnight parking for when you're needing to rest, from all your exploring of our great part of the state, & nation. In the BBQ area itself, there's a donation box, where everything that you can offer (gold coin donations, etc) in return for the facilities available, helps exponentially!!! So if you're exploring our part of this great country, drop in there, and please help as much as you can, it helps the community, and club, & the museum itself, which with some luck, will be available for all to see and enjoy for many years to come, and ultimately, its great place to unwind, any help you can provide, is great karma! I truly hope everyone whom visits, will also enjoy this quiet country town, the hospitality, and the attractions offered throughout the town and surrounding areas... Just look for the LACHLAN FERTILISERS building, and you're right there, it's just off to the side of said business.

Well presented and convenient location to camp. Well maintained facilities with hot water. Plenty of room for a group of travellers along with play area for kids.
